I WANT YOUAs Rainer Weichhold runs Kling Klong Records together with Martin Eyerer since beginning of 2010 it was obvious that he wouldn’t wait long with his own first release. Again produced in cooperation with the mighty Namito (Tehran/Berlin) it’s a string loaded heavy peaktime monster, which definitely has that certain something. Additional versions come from Lützenkirchen, M.In & Patrick Lindsey and newcomer Oliver Ton from Berlin. soundcloud.com/kling-klong-records/sets/rainer-weichhold-i-want-you/s-lN6i6

![]() New "Munich Disco Tech" on Great StuffThe second MUNICH DISCO TECH EP starts with Great Stuff A&R Rainer Weichhold himself as after the overwhelming success with “Bamboo” it was time for another gem. Again produced with mate Bülent Gürler aka Butch, again different, always funky, always a crowdpleaser.
Rainer Weichhold started djing 17 years ago in the late 80ies with an eclectic mixture of Funk, Hip Hop and Indie. First he was a true hater of everything techno and house, which only changed when he had his enlightenment listening to the sets of Alex From Tokyo dur-ing a stay in France 1993. Alex showed him how house music can be soulful and made him discover the world of Masters At Work and their NY sound.
1993 was also the year Rainer met and enjoyed Daft Punk for the first time, which obvi-ously also helped him to get into that sound. These days Rainer Weichhold plays three resident clubs (like Rote Sonne/Munich) and is touring all over Europe with his brilliant mixture of elektro, minimal and classics. And be aware, his sets are rocking and making every dancefloor explode. 17 years of experience can’t go wrong. But that’s not everything as Rainer Weichhold is also the A&R of the exploding German GREAT STUFF Records (check www.greatstuff.eu), where he discovered artists like Gregor Tresher, Trick & Kubic, Lützenkirchen, Mason and many more. The label quickly gained massive respect and plays by djs like Ffatboy Slim, Steve Angello, Tiefschwarz, Tiga, MA.N.D.Y., Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, M.A.N.D.Y., 2manydjs and others. After his very successful debut single “Naked”, he released his first Great Stuff 12” “Infinite Template” (with remixes by Kissy Sell Out and Martin Eyerer) in January 2007, a collabor-ation with Italian producers and djs Dandi & Ugo which gained support by countless DJs for example Agoria, Mylo, Gregor Tresher, Oliver Koletzki, Etienne De Crécy. Rainer released his own „Bamboo/Very Nice“ in October 2007 on Great Stuff featuring remixes by Format B and Michoacan. Played and loved by Claude VonStroke, Karotte, Gregor Tresher, Paolo Mojo, Acquaviva, Prins Thomas, Shinedoe and Oliver Koletzki. The summer of 2008 was determinded by his remix of Jean Claude Ades & Vincent Thomas – “Shingaling” which became a worldwide clubhit. Releases:
