"Most of you know Rainer Weichhold as A& R of Great Stuff and Kling Klong and we know him as well as an irreplaceable friend and partner.
After the massive success of his pervious BluFin release 'REIS' (# 1 Techno for over 2 months) here comes the long awaited follow up 'JALAPENO' - More spicy, more hot, more Techno !!!
Daniele Papini's interpretation will burn down the soundsystems as well for sure. For those who can not eat that spicy we have the freaky groovy rework made by Jaxson & David Keno.
Big new artists – big new tune - big new artwork PLEASUREKRAFT - Carny incl. Jay Lumen & Heartik vs. Rainer Weichhold remix
After scoring one of 2010's biggest anthems with the ubiquitous Tarantula, Pleasurekraft return with another irresistible, charismatic big room groove – already counting plays from the UK's biggest tastemakers, Radio 1's Pete Tong and Annie Mac.
Galloping beats and off-beat bass do battle in mischievous fashion on this colourful cut, with synth brass, cheeky little stabs, electro leads, organ chords and plucked motifs taking it in turns to fill in the gaps around the killer groove and keep your attention hooked. It's all topped off with another one of their distinctive, otherworldly, gated vocals, and taken to the nth level with big builds and bold flourishes of energy. The result is an infectious, fist-pumping delight which will surely be one of 2011's most memorable moments, and that once again shows this duo to be two of house & tech music's most innovative talents.
On the remix front, Hungary's Jay Lumen continues his fine run of form that has seen him release on labels such as 100% Pure and Kling Klong with a percussive, funk-laced workout that drops us somewhere between filter house and groovy techno, with rolling fills and big throbs of bass. Label boss Rainer Weichhold teams up with Heartik on the other remix, taking a bit more of a “re-edit” approach, keeping plenty of the original's flavour intact and marrying it to rolling, incessant tech house beats for more of a consistent ride.
Rainer Weichhold’s 2. Kling Klong release w/ Thomas Schumacher & Channel X remixes
Kling Klong co-boss Rainer Weichhold finally unleashes his second Kling Klong EP which he produced in Berlin with his mate Namito. Obviously there's no Eric Clapton sample in it but the track was originally started with a blues-lick from the guitar hero, so now you know the story of that title "Clap Tone" and the evolution from blues to hypnotic techhouse.
Fantastic remixes from Channel X & Thomas Schumacher give this release an even more exceptional position in the long Kling Klong history. So let's go and finally be spring time in full effect.
OUT: May, 16th 2011

RAINER WEICHHOLD – „Reis“ - Produced with BUTCH, sampling HELGE SCHNEIDER's cult classic
Release: 12.07.2010 on BluFin Records
At first sight Helge Schneider & Rainer Weichhold don't share too many similarities. One of them is a 'Ruhr - Pott' German and the other has his base in the free state of bavaria. Schneider's roots are jazz and Weichhold was an early enthusiastic funk and hip hop fan before he discovered his love for electronic music. Howether - both have one thing in common: They are good in what they do!
Like Helge Schneider, Rainer Weichhold is outstanding in his field, to follow a trend was never his goal. He realized his creativity and is a trendsetter. Not only as A&R for Great Stuff, but also as a producer with continuous support from all the big shots incl. Depeche Mode!!
'REIS' a coop with Butch, containing lyrics from the Helge Schneider's cult classic "Es gibt Reis". The original version is super funky with a touch of oldscool disco and should make hips swing on floors worldwide.
Another dancefloor bomb comes by Carlo Lio's mix, his interpretation is a modern techhouse track 'par excellance'. His unbelievable groovy, drifty and almost hypnotic sound will burn down the soundsystems. The Heartik remix rolls forward in a more minimal way, his massive bassline and the snares speak for themselves, true dancefloor alert !! For digital lovers we have 2 bonus tracks with the Marcelo Carvalho aka Viet2 remix and a nonvocal version from Rainer and Butch.
Rainer Weichhold’s first Kling Klong release! I WANT YOU
As Rainer Weichhold runs Kling Klong Records together with Martin Eyerer since beginning of 2010 it was obvious that he wouldn’t wait long with his own first release. Again produced in cooperation with the mighty Namito (Tehran/Berlin) it’s a string loaded heavy peaktime monster, which definitely has that certain something. Additional versions come from Lützenkirchen, M.In & Patrick Lindsey and newcomer Oliver Ton from Berlin.
Played by:
Kaiserdisco: Like the M.in & Lindsey remix, great groove! Seth Troxler: gangsta!!! would love this. i like the original mix the best. Brother’s Vibe: Tight remixes - Love the M.In & Patrick Lindsey Remix! Will play for sure... Groove Armada: lutzenkirchen mix is my favorite (although they're all good) he keeps it more locked down in that heavy groove with a bit less vocal; nice.
Hugo: m.in & patrick lindsey remix is my favorite. Hermanez: i like the M.In & Patrick Lindsey Remix ! nice done! Stacey Pullen: hey there loving this release, M.in and patrick's mix is my fav but also like the Luetzenkirchen Remix). Axwell: sounds good!
With Rainer Weichhold’s Flashmobbing Ep being a big success with countless support in the clubs and on radio, he was more than motivated to ask his mate Namito for more studio time. And already 4 hours after their start his next track was reardy and finally named after his sweet 10 year old daughter Noemi. A subtle track with a great summer mood ready to rock Ibiza with remixes from Ramon Tapia, Dirtybird artist Sascha Braemer and Ministry Of Sound residents and Kling Klong artists Chase Buch & Nick Olivetti from London.
Rainer Weichhold presents his new single on Starlight. It’s a new fresh production made with Butch. This duo is one of the best team in the worldwide Club Culture.

- Doomwork, one of the new best talented team in the deep house \ tech house music. Last year they produced with Neuroxyde the best tech house song on Beatport’s scene, and also one of the best seller of Starlight making n.1 in the general chart for over one month. Their easy house mix will be one in a lot of bag, sure!
- UGLH & Federico Locchi have increased their names after the huge track on Noir. This remix is the most supported mix of the release. Great Job, as always!
