Quazar - Number One (Juan Sanchez Remix) coming soon on

Amsterdam house legends QUAZAR return with a slamming new 12-inch on Bla bla records: the ‘NUMBER ONE ep’. The vinyl release consists of two vintage QUAZAR versions of the title track plus a rocking remix by one of the bright new stars on the Dutch tech-house firmament: Juan Sanchez, who made his name with a string of great releases for Great Stuff, Noir and Kling Klong.

Christian Hawk – What You Think (incl. Juan Sanchez Remix)

"What You Think" is a chuggy percussive work out that uses synths and vocal snaps to
pepper the Latino rhythms. Juan Sanchez steps up on remix duties for a straight groovy
affair that uses the stabs with devastating affect, whereas the Wetbikinidub from Hawk
himself delivers a sexy bass line that dreams of long hot summer days.

CHASE BUCH & NICK OLIVETTI – “Complex Rhythm EP”

Hot british newcomers + great rmx from Romano Alfieri & Juan Sanchez

Chase Buch & Nick Olivetti are awesome newcomers and Ministry Of Sound residents from London, who just know how to put their beats right and tight and who can already be counted among the big new hopes in techno. Coming out of nowhere straight into the sets of Kling Klong heads Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold, the decision for this first EP was just an easy one. The two remixers Romano Alfieri (Italy) and Juan Sanchez (Amsterdam) also didn't need to be forced as they immediately heard the potential of the guys. So watch out for Chase Buch & Nick Olivetti.

RELEASE DATE: April, 12th 2010

Juan Sanchez is one of the most promising artists within the international electronic music scene. His track selection of sophisticated house and tasty techno is an excellent blend of emotion, energy and rhythm coated in  nasty jacking grooves. It is this refined musical vision, an endless string of (inter)national bookings and red hot productions and remixes that made him one of 2009’s most sought after artists of the past few years, and a definite DJ of choice for many promotors in years to come. Juan has shared prestigious peak time spots with the likes of Derrick May, Josh Wink, Gregor Tresher, Funk D'Void, Guido Schneider and Âme on a variety of national and international stages. And that's just the tip of the iceberg: Other highlights include sought-after residencies at Holland's popular Rekorder and Rockit events as well as countless gigs in Spain (including Barcelona's The Loft venue and the highly anticipated Sonar festival), Ibiza (Blue Marlin), Germany and France. This May even sees Juan crossing the pond for a 10-day Brazil tour (!) including several gigs in Sao Paulo!

Juan, who hails from a Spanish-Dutch family, began his musical career at the early age of eight, when he fell in love with the guitar. He honed his musical skills by playing in various bands, thereby continuously expanding his musical vision and transcending the boundaries of rock. His broad taste, natural skills, and passion for all things electronic saw Juan rapidly growing out to become one of the most prolific DJs and performers in the scene. His name has graced the line-ups of recognized clubs and festivals in the Netherlands as abroad, after which he soon made a name for himself as an international floor rocker extraordinaire. Summer 2010 sees Juan gracing stages at some of the nation's biggest and best outdoor bashes including Awakenings Festivals (where he plays alongside the likes of Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and Jeff Mills), and Welcome To The Future Festival.

Next to making waves as an internationally respected DJ, Juan also proved to be a skilled producer and remixer.
After celebrating international success with releases on acclaimed imprints Wolfskuil Records,  Great Stuff, Break New Soil and Bla Bla in 2009, this year will see brand new cuts on Oosh, Kling Klong, Noir Music and High Definition among others. Among Juan's biggest supporters are Dubfire, Josh Wink, Marco Carola, Laurent Garnier, Karotte, Timo Maas, Joris Voorn and Anja Schneider.

May 2010 will see the launch of Juan's very own monthly club night FORMAT in Amsterdam's recently opened club AIR (already tipped by connoiseurs as the city's ultimate hotspot for the coming years). This special event sees Juan inviting his long list of befriended national and international DJs for a night that is bound to achieve cult status soon...

Whereas other DJs would sign on the spot for just a tenth of his achievements, Juan has only just begun... so, keep a close eye, 'cause there's much more hotness in the pipeline!
